Expansion of the 22kV distribution system for the 110kV Cau Do Substation
A system of 9 medium voltage switchgear units rated at 24kV–2500A, along with a SCADA data collection and control system.
On June 21, 2011, Da Nang Power Company organized the commissioning of the project "Expansion of the 22kV Distribution System for the 110kV Cầu Đỏ Substation E12." Attendees included representatives from the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, the Central Regional Power System Dispatch Center, Central Electric Testing Company, Trường Giang Company, as well as various functional departments of the company.
The project for the expansion of the 22kV distribution system at the 110kV Cầu Đỏ Substation was invested and constructed from January 17, 2010, to June 22, 2011, with a scale of 4 outgoing 22kV feeder bays and a total investment of over 6.6 billion VND. This project was initiated by Da Nang Power Company, with the 110kV Operation Management Team responsible for organizing construction, supervising installation, and coordinating with various units and departments to receive materials and schedule power outages to ensure timely implementation and safe, quality operation of the equipment.
The construction of the 4 new outgoing 22kV feeder bays aims to utilize the 22kV source from the 110kV Cầu Đỏ E12 substation to align with the progress of the project "Renovation of the Rural Electricity Network in Hòa Vang District" and the project "Overhaul of Transformer T2 E12." This will ensure a reliable power supply to meet the growing electricity demand in Hòa Vang District and Cẩm Lệ District in the near future.
